Know Thyself Series - Introduction
Why is it important to know thyself? There are many benefits.
Wiser decision making.
When you know yourself, you know who you are – you know what you stand for. You know what you are available for – what you are unavailable for. You know your values and how you like to be treated.
When you know yourself – you love yourself and you have greater self care, self love. What happens when you have these things is that that emanates out to other people.
You know how to energize and nourish yourself with whatever tools, exercises, rituals, and habits that you need to be your optimal self. You know how often you need them. You have a balance in your life – light and dark – yin and yang, masculine and feminine.
The deeper you go with knowing yourself – it's magic that happens – alchemically. You begin to be able to control matter. You change your reality – your experience of the world. Because your perception of yourself – your place in the world – has shifted.
As you perceive yourself differently, the world begins to perceive you differently.
And it affects your relationships – positively. Those who are truly aligned with a higher expression of you, come closer to you and all others are repelled. The people who don't know themselves are repelled.
This series is devoted to giving you some of the tools that I use to know myself, so that you can use them to know yourself. As always, take what resonates with you and drop the rest.
The better I know myself, the more I am able to get to the gold.
It's like if you've got a big crystal but the crystal is on the inside and you have to chip away at the layers of rock to get to it. It's like the pearl – at first it's a clam – a shell. And then by friction – FRICTION – difficulty, challenge it rubs itself raw (that can't be comfortable) but then there's a pearl.
