Changing with Spirit Oracle Cards
July 17 - July 23, 2017

Card 1: TRUST

Dictionary definition states: noun – a firm belief in the reliablility, truth, ability, or strength or someone or something.

Synonyms: confidence, belief, faith, certainty, assurance, conviction, credence, reliance

Believe in yourself.

Turn your attention to all the reasons why it is working – the evidence of this – and TRUST.

Turn your focus to all the reasons why you can win – and TRUST.

“Self trust is the essence of heroism.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson

“But I think that because they trusted themselves and respected themselves as individuals, because they knew beyond doubt that they were valuable and potentially moral units -- because of this they could give God their own courage and dignity and then receive it back. Such things have disappeared perhaps because men do not trust themselves anymore, and when that happens there is nothing left except perhaps to find some strong sure man, even though he may be wrong, and to dangle from his coattails.”
― John SteinbeckEast of Eden

“As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live.”
― Johann Wolfgang von GoetheFaust: First Part

“Insecurity is the lack of trust in your abilities and worth. When you enter into a secured state of consciousness, everything that helped boost your confidence will return.”
― Itohan EghideMaster of Maxims

“A mind that trusts itself is light on its feet.”
― Nathaniel BrandenSix Pillars of Self-Esteem

“When you trust yourself, you sow the seeds of fear into the hearts of your enemies!”
― Mehmet Murat ildan

“Self-trust firms up your inner territory and grounds you with solid premises for believing in who you are.”
― Laurie NadelDr. Laurie Nadel's Sixth Sense: Unlocking Your Ultimate Mind Power

“When in doubt, reinforce your self-trust.”

Card 2: ENVIRONMENT

This week upgrade your ENVIRONMENT. Make your home space (and office, etc) truly your own. If where you live (and the places / people you are frequenting) isn't energizing you – move – or cease going there.

Clear clutter.

Improve your space(s) by having things around you that energize you and bring you joy. Make sure your environment is functional and it aids in the fruition of your success.

Your environment should nourish you, period.

If there is something in your environment that you need to change, then DO THE WORK this week to make. it. happen.

Fill your environment with beauty – people, places, things - that satisfy you and bring you peace.

Choose your community wisely.

From the moment you wake up to the moment you go to bed, you are filled with (and impacted by) what you see around you – i.e. your environment. What is the first thing you see when you wake up? Is it serving you? Do you have what you need to truly thrive? If not, create a strategy (a plan) and take action this week.

Your environment dictates your intake. Your intake dictates the quality of your entire life. Turtles will grow as big as their environment lets them. House plants grow as big as the pot they are in. Do you need a larger container?

This card could also be telling you to get out into nature more.

“Your environment will eat your goals for breakfast.” Steve Pavlina

Card 3: ADVENTURE

This week get out of your comfort zone and ADVENTURE.

This card can either be saying for you to travel (adventure), to change your perception of adventure, or to adventure in a new way (help others).

This can be an actual physical adventure. It can be an adventure (expansion) in consciousness.

It can be a new way of perceiving what is adventure and what is not.

For example, some people think that in order to be adventurous that one has to travel to distant lands. They may have an unsatisfactory home life (environment) and using adventure as a way to escape. This person can shift their idea of what adventure is to seeing that truly caring for themselves and gifting themselves all that they deserve (a life worth living) perhaps right in their current town, is an adventure in itself.

Adventure can also be not taking for granted ones privilege and using it to say, help the homeless, or aid disenfranchised POC. Adventure can be volunteering. It can be sleeping in your car or outside in a cardboard box for a few nights to see how it feels (even if you have a home).

Putting yourself in the shoes of another is a potent form of adventure.

“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”
― Terry PratchettA Hat Full of Sky

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
― Hunter S. ThompsonThe Proud Highway: Saga of a Desperate Southern Gentleman, 1955-1967

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”
― Eleanor Roosevelt
