July 24 Through July 30, 2017 Reading
Aleister Crowley Thoth Tarot
“I call this card the Angel of Gregariousness and Salesmanship.
The positive qualities of this card is that this is a person driven to succeed. He is like a hot wind blowing over the desert. He communicates well and comes across as gregarious and likable. He is an excellent salesman – very creative, loves to be challenged, and prefers to work with deadlines.
In the negative this person can be incapable of looking at his own issues and reluctant to look at bad past behavior. He can be too clever for his own good and intentionally deceptive. He can be running away from something or someone. He is willing to avoid the issue rather than to face it. This wastes a tremendous amount of energy and time.
The interpretation of this card is that it's a reminder that you have to be willing to look at past events in your life and use them to make better decisions in the future. Own what happened in the past. Let others help you. Create your life to becomes an exploration into the complex workings of yourself.
It is time to come out in some way and be seen. Take charge and see what will happen. The first to being successful is to become responsible. Now is the time to make a decision and give it a go. Find out how great it can be if you believe in yourself.
Be aware that some may be jealous as you step into a bigger position. But also be mindful that jealousy stems from a fear of not being willing to try.
When this card comes up, take a look – and a moment - at where you might be creating busy work to avoid dealing with more personal problems. Do you talk the talk, but do not walk the walk?”

The Knight of Swords rules these three cards - 8 of Swords (Interference – focusing on petty things and allowing the insignificant to distract and deter you from what is truly important, applying too much force to small things resulting in pettiness, poor application, and misuse of the mind), 9 of Swords (Cruelty – negative, defeating self-talk, beating up on oneself, malice, rage, revenge, suffering of others), and 7 of Disks (Failure – fear of failure, represents deep fears and unresolved issues that cause you to withdraw into yourself, slowness, inertia).
“Knight of Swords qualities include clear insight into a problem, working quickly to set your goals and not letting anyone or anything get in the way.
Nevertheless a restless period where you are transitioning and trying to get somewhere else either in your everyday life, or physically in terms of travel.
A time when you need to be mentally sharp and decisive.
In a career situation there is much competition in the workplace. You might want to break free of these restrictions and go for something which gives you more freedom. The Knight indicates restlessness in all aspects of life.
This person must be focused on virtuous actions otherwise she/he will be prone to ill-disciplined thoughts and actions. As long as she's concentrating on his virtuous goals, she's good.
