NUTRITION : Energizing with Spirit Oracle Cards 


This week pay close attention to your NUTRITION (i.e. what you are putting in your mouth). 

The saying, “You are what you eat,” is true. 

Remove toxic fake “foods” from your home – things with corn syrup and chemicals. Processed foods have less energy content (they are often “dead” rather than “living”) and cause more harm than good to the body. These foods act as poison, causing mucous and sluggishness. Sun foods (that are pulled by the root from the ground – and picked from trees) have the highest energy content. The fresher they are, the better. 

Take yourself grocery shopping and indulge on supplying yourself with high quality healthy alternatives. 

Focus on replacement patterns. 

For example, if you crave sugar, you can replace it with fruit, honey, and stevia. 

If you love coffee, you can make yerba matte, green tea, or an energizing herbal drink with ghee, potions from Dragon Herbs, or Morning Jing from Shaman Shack. The possibilities are endless. 

If you have an addiction to smoking, there are smoking blends (made of herbs such as lavender and roses) by companies such as All Things Botanical. You can utilize this to gradually ween you off the addiction and aid with the oral fixation. 

If you love alcohol, start by staying away from the hard liquior entirely and try red wine. Try kombucha and water with lemon in it. You can also cut up fruits and mint leaves and add them to your water (let it sit for several hours for the flavor to seep in). You can also brew yourself cold tea with honey such as peppermint. There's also chai tea (or any other tea) with ghee and honey (delicious!). Homemade lemonade with lavendar is a calming agent as well. 

If you have a tendency toward dehydration and dryness, drink water and oil your body after a shower and/or bath. 

Again, the key is to gradually replace life force depleting habits with nourishing ones.

Keep in alignment with the principles of Ayurveda and be gentle with yourself. Commit to releasing one unhealthy habit at a time – stick with it. Sometimes people are able to go cold turkey and change everything at once, however; the individual must truly want this above all else. Otherwise, slow and steady wins the race. Make sure you start now though. 

Your NUTRITION affects every area of your life – finances, romance, energy, sex life, home life, etc. When you have abundant energy in your body, your mind is sharper and you are able to think clearly. Your actions reflect this purity. Health is power. The better you feel, the more improved your exercise practice becomes as well. 

Health is Wealth. 

Health is currency. 

Pay yourself first.

You can find yourself in an endless loop where you explain that you feel negative because of the negative behavior of someone else. But if, instead, you take control of your own emotions and you think an improved thought because it feels better to do so, you can turn it around. You have no real control of what anyone else is doing with their Vibration (or with their actions, for that matter), but you have complete control over your own thoughts, Vibrations, emotions, and point of attraction.
